Legal Services People Can Trust: the California Consumer Justice Coalition

This program will introduce free legal services and resources available to people struggling to keep their homes or facing other consumer debt issues. This class is taught by attorneys from the California Consumer Justice Coalition, a partnership between five legal services organizations in Los Angeles and Orange County. 


At this class, learn about:

    • The laws that protect homeowner rights
    • Trusted resources for getting one-on-one help from attorneys and housing counselors

The Coalition’s website, www.caconsumerjustice.org, which connects people with free legal assistance and information on:

      • Homeowners’ rights and options
      • Bankruptcy
      • Debt collection
      • Eviction
      • Student loans
      • Veterans’ Issues
      • And more!

Community advocates, including public librarians, faith leaders, local elected officials, community organizers, housing counselors and others welcome to attend.
