Your free library card gives you two hours of computer access per day! Whether you want to draft a document for court or use Westlaw or Lexis Advance, LA Law Library's public computers are available to you. With dozens of legal databases available, legal research is faster and easier. By using the pre-formatted pleading templates along with sample language from legal practice guides, legal documents can be drafted easily.

Electronic legal resources such as Westlaw and Lexis Advance, simplify legal research and LA Law Library provides templates of documents pre-formatted for LA Superior Court or US District Court for the Central District of California.

Free access to industry leading databases
  • Access Lexis Advance, Westlaw, CEB OnLaw and a wide range of other electronic legal databases
  • Email or download practice materials directly from the databases.
Software to draft court documents
  • In addition to offering word processing software, LA Law Library provides pre-formatted pleading paper
  • Access sample language from databases to help in drafting documents
