HOLIDAY CLOSURE - Friday, June 19

LA Law Library will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in recognition of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth (short for June 19th) is an annual federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It marks the date in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to enforce the emancipation of enslaved Black people—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
