The Housing Rights Center (HRC) is the nation’s largest non-profit rights organization dedicated to securing and promoting fair housing. Come learn from HRC about the basics of renting, affordable housing, and Project Place! Project Place is a free monthly listing of rental properties for low-income, senior, and veteran residents throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

Class covers:

  • Overview of Fair Housing laws
  • Basics of renting and affordable housing
  • Introduction to Project Place

Housing Rights Center (HRC) does not provide housing or help applying for housing.

Although you can listen to the class from various kinds of devices, you will need video to view the speaker(s) and any presentation materials and the ability to type on your device and use Zoom to ask questions or use the chat features.
