Sometimes life’s challenges require assistance. In the event you suffer from disability, housing or food insecurity, or employment challenges, you may be eligible for public benefits that could assist you. In this class, you will learn about the various benefits available to low-income individuals from the State of California.
Class covers:
- Cash aid available to low-income residents of Los Angeles County
- Food assistance
- Disability benefits (state and federal)
- Healthcare benefits
- Benefits available to immigrants
- Benefits for workers (and their families/dependents)
