Sometimes life’s challenges require assistance. In the event you suffer from disability, housing or food insecurity, or employment challenges, you may be eligible for public benefits that could assist you. In this class, you will learn about the various benefits available to low-income individuals from the State of California.  

Class covers:

  • General relief available to low-income residents of Los Angeles County
  • Public housing assistance programs for California residents
  • Resources for those who lack the means to purchase food
  • Other health and work related public benefits available to Los Angelinos
