Affordable E-delivery and Other New and Expanded Remote Services Now Available!
As a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Library pivoted quickly to create many new and expanded remote services, including e-book borrowing, live Zoom and on-demand classes, Ask a Lawyer sessions, expanded phone, email, and chat reference service, and more. All of these services remain available as we continue to expand our reach to help more people in more ways, no matter their legal information need. We invite you to check out the many new and improved ways we can serve you, in-person at our physical locations and remotely from your home or office:
- Convenient branch and partnership locations throughout the County, where you can access valuable database or print resources and get one-on-one assistance
- Invaluable self-help and practice material available remotely, including Nolo press publications and Lexis Digital e-Books (available to registered users)
- An extensive lineup of classes, workshops, and clinics including live Zoom, on-demand, and in-person sessions on a wealth of legal topics
- An affordable Members Program featuring remote access to a valuable suite of legal databases among other benefits including on-site parking
- Access to the state’s most comprehensive collection of California appellate court briefs
- Free Reference assistance available six days a week in-person, by phone, email, and chat, to help you research any legal issue.
Last but not least, while our limited free e-delivery program ended March 30, 2024, please remember that our established low-cost e-delivery service remains available to help you access any material from our world-class collection for a modest fee.
