At these locations you’ll find many of the same resources and services at the Main Library, but closer to your home or office. Resources and services may vary by location.
Many of these locations offer free public computers with access to legal research databases and staff available to assist you. Some locations are open on weekday evenings and Sundays.

1 - Compton Library – Temporarily on Hiatus
LA Law Library provides access to Westlaw, CEB OnLaw, Hein Online, Legal Information Reference Center, LegalTrac and Lexis Advance free of charge, in partnership with the County of Los Angeles Public Library system, at the Compton Library.
Compton also has its own collection of law books which may be useful in legal research.

2 - Long Beach
Library staff are available to assist litigants, visitors and legal professionals with legal research questions and have a wide array of California practice guides, form books, and laws available both in print and electronically.
Staff can assist visitors with finding information on how to file motions, prepare court documents or learn about court procedures. Computer terminals are available free of charge. Material can be downloaded or emailed.
