Quicklook: Types & Sources of Law (N. Hollywood)

This class introduces legal researchers to cases, statutes, and regulations, and the roles they play in your research. Learn fundamental legal research concepts by focusing on the elements and features of legal research materials, and how to find them.

Class covers:

  •  The three branches of government, and the law made by each
     Introduction to primary and secondary authority
     Characteristics of legal research materials
     Legal research tips
