This class will focus on how to file for a probate conservatorship in Los Angeles County. With an emphasis on forms, the class will explain the court process and what needs to be done to obtain certified Letters of Conservatorship. 

Instruction is explained in four phases:

• What documents need to be filed to get a case number and court date
• What documents need to be prepared and served once a hearing is set and how to prepare for the hearing
• What documents need to be prepared after the hearing for appointment
• What documents need to be completed to finalize appointment of a conservator

This is a document focused class for those ready to move forward with filing for appointment.  For those wishing to learn about conservatorships and alternatives, we recommend our other On Demand class entitled California Probate Conservatorships & Alternatives. 

No advance registration or phone appointment is necessary. Space is limited. Attendees admitted on a first-come, first served basis. Check-in begins at 9:45 a.m.
