LA Law Library has the most comprehensive collection of California Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal briefs with the collection dating back to the beginning of the courts.
In partnership with LLMC-Digital, the briefs collection is being digitized for online access. Currently, briefs from 2003 to present are available online. (LA Law Library is the only organization to offer online access to briefs for FREE.) Current briefs are scanned when they arrive with the entire collection planned for digitization. In the last three years, LA Law Library has scanned 2 ½ million pages of briefs.
