This class will teach you how to use CHEETAH, Wolters Kluwer's state of the art online legal research database featuring practice guides, treatises, and primary sources in all major areas of law. Learn to search faster and more powerfully for the legal information and practice pointers you need.

Class covers:

  • The content available on the new, intuitively designed CHEETAH and why you need it for your legal research
  • Improved ways to browse and search primary and secondary content in CHEETAH
  • How to use Smart Charts – Only three clicks to create a 50 state, federal or international interactive chart on a given legal topic!
  • Practical legal research examples drawn from common, relevant legal areas

Presented by Bridget Fonger:
Bridget is a Legal Training Consultant at Wolters Kluwer. She started her training career in 1985 at Skadden Arps in New York where she managed the weekend staff, and was responsible for major SEC filings. Bridget also co-wrote a book entitled The Lazy Woman's Guide to Just About Everything in which she shares tricks, tips and tools to save time, while ensuring effectiveness and efficiency. Bridget received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984 from the University of California, Berkeley where she majored in International Human Rights Law.
