This seminar will provide an essential overview of an attorney's duties of confidentiality and competence in our ever-changing technological world. Learn about timely topics like transmitting and storing confidential client information, and precautions that should be taken when using technology susceptible to unauthorized access (i.e., hacking).

• How different technologies work, and the risks involved
• How the duties of confidentiality and competence apply to use of technology
• How to ethically use technologies like the cloud, digital currencies, encryption, or a wireless connection
• Latest relevant ethics opinions

Salar Atrizadeh, Esq., has an extensive background in technology and holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Database Management Systems.
