Mediation: How it Can Work in Your Community

This class offers an overview of what mediation is and how it has helped LA county residents resolve disputes outside of the courtroom. You will learn basic mediation skills, as well as where to go to request mediation, so that you can spread this knowledge to your community.

Class covers:

  • Mediation techniques
  • When mediation is a good alternative to litigation
  • Mediation in Small Claims, Unlawful Detainer and Civil Limited courtrooms
  • Types of cases that can be mediated
  • Submitting a request for mediation in Los Angeles County
