As part of the LA Law Library’s MCLE lunch hour speaker series, this class will provide a review of the top new family law cases that every family law attorney needs to be aware of and understand. Learn important practice tips from these cases in several areas of family law.

Topic includes cases on:

  • Domestic violence
  • Child & spousal support
  • Division of property

Presented by Donald P. Schweitzer
Donald P. Schweitzer is a Certified Family Law Specialist with over 15 years of trial experience. Prior to going into private practice, Mr. Schweitzer served as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County for eight years. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Pasadena Bar Association. Mr. Schweitzer is a past president of the Pasadena Bar Association and serves on the board of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation.

Earn 1 hour general MCLE credit.
