Enforcement of Money Judgments

This class gives an overview of the law and procedures for enforcing civil judgments in California. Attendees will also explore library materials and resources for researching enforcement of judgment issues.

Topic includes:

  • Identifying assets;
  • Placing liens on property;
  • Collecting from assets;
  • Settlement;
  • When and how assets may be 'locked up' before judgment.

Fees: $20 for the class (nonrefundable, payment reserves spot).
