What to Know About Powers of Attorney and Conservatorships

This workshop is designed to help the attendee understand the different types of powers of attorneys and important considerations to make when executing the legal instrument. Learn the difference between supported decision-making and substitute decision-making.

Bet Tzedek Legal Services we will review what is involved in naming an agent, the scope of an agent's authority, and how to revoke a power of attorney. The presentation will end by explaining the difference between powers of attorney and conservatorship.
