QuickLook: Legal Research on the Internet (North Hollywood)

LA Law Library legal research specialists teach free, monthly 45-minute overviews of legal information search tools and techniques as part of regular "office hour" visits.*

This class introduces free and low cost websites for researching California and federal law.

Class covers:

  • How to search for bills, codes, regulations, and case law
  • Sources for Los Angeles County law and government
  • General legal research sites, including Google Scholar and FindLaw for Legal Professionals
  • Legal research tips

*A more extensive class, which may include hands-on practice and sample exercises, is taught at the Main branch of LA Law Library in downtown Los Angeles.
